Agent Abilities

These are the abilities that Agent characters start with and learn as they progress in the profession.

Innate

• A roundtime reduction of 20% when picking/disarming boxes.
• Reduced darkness-related abilities, this applies to blindness as well (two examples are fighting and foraging).
• Reduced engagement times.
• Level-Based Profession bonuses to Appraisal, Poisons, Security, Stealing, Stealth, Streetwise, and (possibly) Intimidation and Light Armor.
• Able to AIM while hiding.
• Able to learn and mix poisons, with enough skill.
• Reduced chance to fail at hiding while engaged at pole or melee range in both urban and rural areas.
• Ability to see hidden things in both urban and rural areas. Hidden objects appear in parenthesis.
• Ability to hide caches in urban areas.

Level 5

• Access to the [AGENT] channel on Communicators.
• Repair Lockpicks - This ability allows the Agent to repair damaged lockpicks.

Level 10

• Ambush - Stealth Attack

Level 12

• Urban Sneaking - This ability allows the Agent to move about in hiding with no roundtimes for sneaking, but only in urban areas. This ability has a Stealth skill requirement (actual level of skill needed is unknown).

Level 18

• Hamstring - Stealth Attack

Level 20

• Embrace Shadows - The Agent's only focus-based ability. When used, this ability will increase the stealing and stealth skill of the Agent by +20. Each time the Agent uses this ability and hides while in the presence of hostile enemies, focus is drained. If the Agent's focus is drained entirely while under the affects of Embrace Shadows, the Agent will be thrust from hiding and into the open.

Level 25

• Blackjack/Pistolwhip - Stealth Attack

Level 31

• Rural Sneaking - This ability allows the Agent to move about in hiding with no roundtimes for sneaking, this time in rural areas. This ability has a Stealth skill requirement (actual level of skill needed is unknown).

Level 35

• Snipe - Stealth Attack. Hyas will not give any indication that you have learned this ability (this is possibly a bug). You do not have to ask Hyas about anything to receive it, at 35th level you automatically know it.

Level 45

• Backstab - Stealth Attack

Level 91

• Assassinate - Stealth Attack.
