Ateon

Originally from the eastern lands, Ateon always served as the protector of Haelrahv, spreading the seeds of life and hope across the lands while battling Ilafai and his evil minions. Although he eventually lost in battle to Ilafai, Ateon used the last of his strength to pour his essence into the earth, melding his spirit with the planet. From this spot sprouted the mightiest of trees, the Eolfaelsh, also know as the Father Tree. This tree bound all of Haelrahv together and transformed it from a gray dying planet to one that was lush and green. Ateon typically is worshipped in the guise of the Father Tree in sacred groves. Many of these groves contain saifbraelsh trees, as they are associated with him. Some choose to revere him as the Light Warrior, depicted as an Eolai man with bronze skin and golden hair carrying a sword of light or an open palm filled with seeds.
