Professions are an integral part of playing Haelrahv. They determine the vast majority of what your character can and cannot do. While it is true that everyone has a chance to do almost anything, they will still be limited in the amount of training they can give to any particular skill unless their profession excels at it.

Most are specialized into a particular niche for the community. We have those that are bred for their excellence in combat, as with the Mercenaries and Troopers, while others with quirky enough minds to be a Mage or Psionic. There are even those with nimble fingers that decide to be Artisans.
