Encumbrance
From Haelrahv Wiki
Encumbrance is a measure of how burdened a character is by the weight of the possessions they are wearing or carrying. As the character carries larger numbers of items or obtains particularly heavy items, they can become increasingly strained and find it more difficult to perform some tasks.
Encumbrance has a great effect on combat ability and actions that require fast, balanced, or fluid movement.
The primary means to enhance one's ability to carry heavy loads is by training Strength. Vitality plays a lesser role as well. The Jaddan race and Trooper profession both enjoy reduced encumbrance due to their possessions. Likewise, Alteri suffer increased encumbrance.
Additional aspects that can increase encumbrance include carrying large amounts of cash, being under the effects of the Shrink spell, being negatively affected by the Null Gravity spell, and possessing the Weak Back flaw.
Additional aspects that can reduce encumbrance include being under the effects of the Grow spell, being positively affected by the Null Gravity spell, being under effects of the Brawn Tracker Survival ability, and possessing the Rugged trait.
