| Description:
| A favorite food of travelers and sand devils alike, these 8" long fish have adapted to live in desert regions. They breathe air and swim through the dunes like water. Jharel fish have tan to gold scales and large pectoral fins that serve to propel them through the sand. They exhibit two dorsal fins, which are made of hard, thick cartiledge to help them cut upward from beneath a dune and have long pointed noses which help them swim as well. Schools of jharel fish are usually small, comprising of 8-10 members.
