Lysenthir Zelune

Lysenthir is a Mage who takes a lot of pride in his profession. He uses cantrips and spells on a regular basis, sometimes even in the midst of conversation to emphasize his point.

Lysenthir is not a lab rat, library wandering Mage. He's very much at home on a battlefield, helping lead Troopers into combat, teaching his various apprentices how to effectively cast their spells and enhance their Arcane knowledge, or guiding young arrivals through different hunting grounds while keeping an eye on them. He's an accomplished swordsman, but he always casts first, second, third, and fourth, and then maybe the sword is used. He has a brilliant, analytical mind, but sometimes lacks common sense. He's highly charismatic. A socializer, he enjoys being around his many friends. He gets laughs out of people with his animated personality, bright smile, and genuine nature. He's also the first to be there with a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen. He has a habit of leaning on his staff, hunching his back, when he's listening intently to something or someone.

Lysenthir is proud, and sometimes a showoff, but as I said earlier, he's a very genuine person. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He doesn't manipulate people or go behind others' backs, preferring to be up-front and blunt if there's a problem. He's quick to anger if he feels one of his friends is being taken advantage of, or bullied. This is amplified by ten-fold if this involves the love of his life and wife, Dixie Pierce. His "champion of the underdog" side was even showed when Lord Aeron attempted a coup on the Z'dan throne, and Lysenthir (among many others!) protected Prince Aegan. His role in this earned him a royal medal of honor.

He prefers colors that reflect his affinity for his favorite spheres of magic, Electricity and Wind. Hence, his clothes make him look like a walking thundercloud. Ocia, the metal his katana and the half-crescent on his staff is maded of, is a metal that conducts and amplifies magic. In combat, he'll cross the crescent over his katana's blade, and point the blade as a sort of Arcane gun, shooting chain lightning from the tip of the sword. He also loves high places, like towers, tall trees, and buildings that he can see for miles from.

He recently adopted Wei Wao, a gifted, young Alterian Psionic.
