Mining in the Caverns on Llanfair Island

There are two sets of four caverns where most mining occurs. For the sake of convenience, this article numbers each cavern, starting to count with the most westerly cavern, or the nearest one to the East Gate of Llanfair. Below is a list of what can be mined in each of the eight caverns. Keep in mind that you may not be able to find all of these when you first start mining. Ecology will help you to more readily identify these metals, as well as find larger amounts of them per attempt. SURVEY to determine which metals you are currently capable of mining.

Cavern 2 Aroai stone, Copper, Gold, Ilafai stone, Titanium, Turquoise

Cavern 3 Copper, Diamond, Emerald, Ilafai stone, Silver, Vellian (ore)

Cavern 4 Aroai stone, Copper, Gold, Ilafai stone, Titanium, Turquoise

Cavern 5 Copper, Diamond, Emerald, Ilafai stone, Silver, Vellian (ore)

Cavern 6 Aroai stone, Ilafai stone, Onyx, Ruby, Sapphire, Turquoise

To extract a particular material, you have to hold a mining implement, such as a shovel or a pick, and type mine for <material>, e.g. mine for ilafai stone.
