| Description:
| A species of invertebrate found only in marshes, this creature will attach itself to any unlucky person and drain health points until it is removed. This pale blue worm can grow to up to 3 feet in length, and up to 2 inches around. They were named by Humans, who noticed that anywhere the leeches thrived, there were also fine filaments (similar to spiderwebs, yet much stronger) which glistened under light like a mass of fine droplets of liquid. They chose to farm the creatures, and from the filaments they gather, comes mistsilk thread.

| Uses:
| The natural shade of this is a translucent gray, but it can be bleached or dyed and still retain its natural properties. It is strong enough to be woven into garments, containers and even (tent style) building materials. Occasionally, woven pieces of mistsilk will refract any available sunlight into a prism of colors similar to a rainbow.
