Rukkav

Not much is known about Rukkav and Vara, and their place in the Jaddan history is obscure. They were twin brothers and the most powerful of the Harova. It was said that Vara had the ability to read the stars and tell people their fortune. Along with this gift, he also had the ability to write in the stars, changing the fate that was foretold. Rukkav was said to be the largest of the Harova and inspired great fear in his enemies and great courage in his allies. Unlike the remaining Haduroch who changed into Jaddan males after Ilav’s defeat, Rukkav and Vara stayed in their godly forms and ascended to the heavens, taking their place next to Na’vago as the red moon and blue moon, respectively. Similar to Na’vago, shrines to the twin gods are open to the air, allowing access to the light of the moons. Today, the birth of twins is rare and is seen as both a curse and a blessing, for usually the twins are destined to change the course of tradition and history.
