Surendra Patel is a female, Human Performer. She has sea-green eyes that seem to meld into a deep ocean blue drawing you into her gaze. Her small body sits only 5 feet 3 inches tall and is only marred by a single tattoo of a butterfly which she says represents herself flying away from her past and into her future.

Background

Surendra Patel is a mysterious woman who has tried to keep her past, just that. Though through her graceful and elegant movements, as well as her regal and sometimes domineering ways, you can tell that she was raised not as a normal person but someone of high birth. When asked of her past, Surendra refuses to talk about anything before a few years back when she was found wandering the forest by Josie Laurens. Half starved and wearing only tattered remains of what was once a gorgeous gown, she was taken in by Josie and a band of traveling performers and given a new life of her own. If asked about her life before that, her eyes grow wild as she refuses to speak of it. She constantly seems to be glancing around nervously looking in the shadows for someone hiding waiting to find her and return her to where she came from.

These days, Surendra makes her way through life by singing and dancing, choosing to perform as a profession. She instantly fell in love with the life of a performer when living with the traveling performers and was taught how to use her body, mind, voice and charismatic personality to gain her what she wanted whether monetarily or otherwise. In her chosen career, her talents as a performer allow her to use her precious instruments and persuasive movements to bring rave reviews from the audiences, but what Surendra is known for throughout Haelrahv... is her voice. She has a soft almost seductive voice that has been known to lure the audience at times into a captivating awe, leaving standing ovations and crowds begging for more. For this reason she has been given the nickname "The Siren Muse" because she has been known to lure people and creatures into doing whatever her whim may be.

Family

The only person that knows the truth of Surendra’s past is her sister, Josie Laurens whom she met when traveling with a group a performers up near Bosque and instantly bonded with never leaving her side again. The two of them now reside in a ravaged schooner that was partly dug out of the side of the Tiers of Lli in Llanfair. They have turned the ravaged schooner into a beautiful home for the two of them to live the remainder of their lives.When asked about family, Surendra simply replies, "I am my own family... that is all I need."
