| Turgle
|
| Description:
| A small furry nocturnal creature with large eyes and an elongated nose, which is used to pick cholagog berries. They hang from their noses on low branches during the day while sleeping. At dusk, a photosensitive pigment in their nose senses that the light source is diminishing, thus causing their noses to relax, and then they drop from the trees and wake up as they hit the ground. Dusk is the most crucial time of day for them because at this time, as they are still groggy and stumbling about on the ground, they become easy prey for the Haliaetus. Mischievous young Darjuans often enjoy fooling the turgles by tossing blankets over them during the day.
