| Description:
| This is similar to a wood nymph fairy-type creature, but we have to have our own twist, don’t we? They are tiny, about 1” tall, so they hide well in the niches of the wooded areas where they live. They are elusive, so some people might not believe in these creatures/insects. They are quick, so nobody has been able to look at one directly without getting zinged. Their song hypnotizes you for a short amount of time, causing you to freeze while they attack you with their stingers, poisoning you. It is not a strong poison - only mildly irritating. They land on you, sing in your ear, then sting. You can slap them away like a mosquitoe and prevent being stung if you are quick enough. Their wings have a distinct humming pattern, so in areas where they live, you might hear this humming pattern in the background (one, two, three, pause, one, two, three, pause, etc.).
